C+K

This past weekend I got the honor of being invited to attend my old worker's wedding. Crystal is one of my good friends, and she has been engaged for about 3 years (dated for 10!). She has been one busy girl the past few years, and you can see why. Crystal is Indian so she had a traditional Indian wedding on Friday night. My friend Paige and I went together, and our old boss was there as well. Everyone was so nice to us and was great at explaining all the traditions of the ceremony. I will try to write as I remember, but Crystal, please correct me if I am wrong on anything. What a neat experience. =) Also, on top the Indian Wedding, on Saturday night she had an American Wedding. Crystal had never even been to an American wedding before, and lets just say she left nothing out! Everything with gorgeous and totally perfect! The wedding and reception was outside at a place that overlooked Lake Austin. There were a few rain storms earlier in the day and Crystal was freaking out I'm sure. But it ended just in time for the wedding and reception. If I have a girl, she has to get married here- prettiest venue I have ever seen hands down! Congratulations Kunal and Crystal! Thanks for inviting me to share in your special day, it was truly an honor!
The groom has a processional heading to the wedding.

There was a band/singer and everyone was dancing.

Here's the singer...so fun!

The groom meets up with the bride and they all dance.

The BEAUTIFUL bride! A little dancin' The groom smashes this box and the harder he smashes it the better husband, provider, and father he will be. He smashed it flat! ha!

Bride and Groom

Look at this amazing alter! What an awesome place to get married under!

There was a chandelier and crystals hanging from the top.

For most of the ceremony there was a sheet btwn the bride and groom

so they couldn't look at each other.

Once they broke a plate, it was official, they were married!

Husband and Wife

Look at this AMAZING sari (sp?). I could not stop looking at how amazing it was.

And it weighed about 50 lbs with all the solid crystals,

I don't know how tiny little Crystal kept it on!

What a BEAUTIFUL bride.

Spring has Sprung!

It's Spring! What a wonderful time of year! This past weekend we went to Dallas to visit our family (pics to come). We couldn't leave without stopping at my favorite place... the Dallas Arboretum! It is absolutely gorgeous. If you get Southern Living, it has some pics of the Arboretum- it is the 2nd place next to Holland for tulips. There are tulips everywhere. All colors, shapes, sizes, its just breath-taking. Crew was a little worn out and was not in the "mood" for taking pics. All he wanted to do was run around and round. We managed to get a "few" pics in between the craziness!
