Birthday Party Weekend

Two weekends ago we had one fun weekend! Two of Crew's best friends both had birthday parties on the same day. In the morning we celebrated Sloane's birthday at Locomotion- a bounce house/game type place. All the kids had a blast! The theme for the party was Sesame Street/Elmo and everything turned out so cute! Happy 2nd Birthday Sloane!
After that we went home and put Crew down for a nap and woke up and went to the next party for his friend Fields. She had an Olivia themed party and everything looked fabulous!!! Talk about a creative party planner, everything was so coordinated. Crew really loved playing with all the girl toys that we don't have at our house (strollers, babies, kitchens, dress up clothes, ha!).
Fun was definetly had by all. Happy 3rd Birthday Fields!
We are truly blessed to have such wonderful friends, glad we could celebrate their special days!

Happy Valentine's Day 2012

Crew's Valentine's Day card.

We also made "hugs" and sent them to the grandparents and great parents.
I traced Crew's hands, and the length of the ribbon is his arm span.
A note is attached with "directions"- wrap around you for a Valentine's hug from Crew.

Winter Days

Back in January they celebrated "Winter Day" at Crew's school. I guess this is what we do since we don't get snow in Austin, ha! Fellowship hall was decorated with a fake snow, a snowman and different stations with all types of "snow" activities. I volunteered to help in the morning and had so much fun watching all the children enjoy their fun day "in the snow."

Crew's Class.

Decorating a felt snowman.

Racing "snowballs" (cotton balls) across the table.

Making ice turn into snow and dying it with food coloring.

Sledding!!

Class snowball fight.

All buried in the snow.

Playing in the snow table.

Snow is FUN!!!=)

Lindsay

For those of you who regularly read my blog, you may remember that a few months ago one of my good friends, Lindsay Lewis passed away. She left behind her now 2 year old son Brody, 1 year old Cash, and her husband Gabe. Gabe started a blog sharing stories about Lindsay, and the way the Lord was working in his life. Everytime I read it I get a new understanding of the depth of true love not only from a spouse, but from a God who loves us all unconditionally. The last post just really touched me- the power of God is truly amazing!
Please continue to pray for this wonderful family.
