Sprinkle Shower honoring Cambrie Grace

The day after the big 3-0 surprise party, was September 2,Brett and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary. Don't ask me where the past six years have gone, from moves, babies, job changes, hospital stays, we made it through it all. I couldn't think of anyone else I would want to spend the rest of my life with. Looking forward to many more years and memories together! Love you Brett!

Also, that day, was a celebration for our baby girl, Cambrie Grace.  My wonderful childhood friend Amy, her mom, and another good family friend hosted a wonderful "sprinkle." Being a second baby, I felt bad even having any type of shower, but they insisted. So, I kept the invite list small and enjoyed the day celebrating with family and friends. The shower was at Ooh La La- a cupcake bakery, in the back room. The venue was just perfect, with chandeliers, pink trees, and yummy cupcakes, cookies, treats and teas to eat.  The hostesses went above and beyond, and fun was had by all. Thanks to everyone who spoiled Miss Cambrie Grace- it was so much fun opening all the girly, pink gifts! We are in for a whole new world of girl stuff- bring it on!

Suprise! Celebrating 30 Years

I turned 30- don't know where the time has gone, but it's here- the BIG 3-0! I thought I would be more sad about leaving my 20's, but really I am so excited about this next stage in my life!

To celebrate the big day, little did I know, Brett (and our parents), worked super hard to pull off the best surprise EVER! I knew we were doing something to celebrate, but I wasn't sure what it was going to be. Brett told me to get dressed up and be ready by a certain time. I was then blindfolded and driven what seems like all around the city! Once we arrived at our final destination, Perry's Steakhouse, I could take off my blindfold. We were escorted to what I thought was our table, only to realize- I walked into a room FILLED with family and friends singing Happy Birthday! Tears just started coming (thanks pregnancy)! You could not imagine all the love I felt at that moment. Friends and family traveled in from Dallas, San Antonio, lifelong friends from elementary school through college all there to celebrate. I am truly blessed to have such wonderful people in my life!=) You all mean more to me than you will ever know!

We had the entire "wine room" to ourselves, and the night was just perfect. We enjoyed absolutely fabulous appetizers and dinner, followed by, of course, a yummy birthday dessert. Then came the toasts and memories from over the years- I think I cried through it all! Thanks to everyone who shared.

Thanks could never be enough for my wonderful husband who pulled off the special night all amid a new job, moving to Houston, selling a house, building a house, and waiting for the arrival of our baby girl (just a few stresses, right?). And thanks to my parents for the wine, beautiful flower centerpieces, and pictures- they brought back so many memories. And my mother-in-law for creating the beautiful invites, and party favors! I am truly blessed to have everyone of you in my life.
Thanks for making the big 3-0 a night I will remember and cherish forever!=)

**I was so busy talking and enjoying the night, I barely took any pictures, so here are the few I have. I know others have some, so if you do please pass them along my way, I would love to see them.

Team Crew- Go For the Gold!

With the move and all the chaos, we were trying to find a weekend to celebrate Crew's birthday. Since all his friends are in Austin, I  knew we had to have his party there. But having a house on the market and having a birthday party did not go together. So- we decided to have it at Crew's favorite place- Rolly Pollies! It's a big open gym with a foam pit, climbing wall, trampolines, bars, trapezes, zip lines, blow up castles, etc. Trying to brainstorm a theme- my mother-in-law came up with "Team Crew- Go for the Gold"- an Olympic themed party. Since we had spent the last few weeks watching the Olympics, and it was at a gym, this was perfect! She worked super hard and quickly to make all the invites and party accessories. Thank you sooooo much Grancie for pulling it all together, you are amazing!  Everything looked ADORABLE (as usual), and gave the party the creative "touch". But lets just say, being pregnant, moving, and having a 3 year old- this place was GREAT! In fact, I may never have a party at home again. The staff set everything up, cut the cake, cleaned the room- couldn't have been easier.

And Crew- he had a BLAST!!! He was so excited to see all his friends one last time. He hugged every single one as they came in. He was all smiles and had the BEST day celebrating! Thanks to all our wonderful friends and neighbors who made the day so special, not only for Crew, but for his mommy and daddy too. We miss you all already!

Birthday banner hung in the party room.

Adorable Invites made by Grancie!
(She drew Crew as a gymnast and made a gold medal around his neck).

Each child had a gold medal plate at their seat, an Olympic torch filled with popcorn, and Gatorade.
