Wow- time sure does fly by! Crew is already 2 months old and is growing so quickly. I was anxious to know how much he weighed- so I weighed myself on the scale then held him and subtracted. If I was correct it should be around 11 lbs- wow! Crew has been developing a personality too- he is just such a precious mild mannered baby! He now smiles all the time!! He loved his overhead gym and reached for all the toys while cooing and trying to say some words too! He sleeps for about 7 hours a night so we are getting alit of sleep too!!
Things have been great here! Last week great Aunt Collete was in town- and Grandpa and Grandma Lattal came in town on their way to Lubbock. We took our first road trip to Grandma Nancy's house for a night. Crew did absolutely wonderful- I think we may have packed half our house though- the 4Runner was loaded up to the ceiling with baby things and our course Bella! Crew loved sleeping in his new Pack 'N Play and we enjoyed a trip away for a night.
Uncle John had fall break so he came down to stay with us for 2 days. We have been having some outings with Baby Beau and Jodi and Baby Weston and Ragan! What fun we have talking about our boys!
We go to the doctor this week for our shots so hopefully everything will go well. We will keep you updated!

1 Month Old
Well I am 2 days late- but Crew was 1 month old on Monday- September 21. We made our visit to the doctor for the big check up. After the big weigh in- Crew came in at a 8 lbs 15 oz (ALMOST 9 pounds). Watch out all you kiddos, this little one is catching up!!! We are thrilled that he was growing! He also grew 1/2" since we were in 2 weeks ago, so his height is now 21 1/2"! We are truely blessed that everything is going so well with Crew and that he got such a wonderful report at the doctor.
Crew first rolled over when he was 2 weeks old, and has done it a few times since then. Today I put him on his playmat with the hanging toys (thanks Jordan and Brittney)- and everytime I put him on his tummy he rolled over to his back! Such an accomplishment!! And I was holding him today as he was sleeping and he laughed- first time I have seem him do that. It was like he was having a funny dream and could not contain it! The smile turned into a laugh and his stomach was shaking as he laughed- it was just too cute! (We are a little partial...)
We did have a little suprise yesterday- I woke up and walked in the living room to feed Crew- and found the whole room full of stuffing- it literally looked like it has snowed all over our house! Well- Bella must have been a little bored- or tired of not getting a ton of attention- and she chewed up our Boppy. First words out of my mouth- "NO..NO..Not the Boppy!" Its the one thing we use every 3 hours when I feed Crew and we cannot live without it! So I had to run out to the store and buy a new one. Oh the joys of having a lab!

Welcome!!!
Everyone has kept getting onto me to start a blog, well I guess I finally caved in so here it is! I am still learning how to use this site, but I will try my best to keep you up to date on what is going on with the Carson family.
Baby Crew is here!! He was born at 10:34 am on 8/21/2009 weighing 6 lbs 10 oz, 19 inches long. I think the whole day was a complete blur for me! My water broke at 1 am and I was in complete shock since Crew wasn't due for 3 more weeks and I had this feeling he was even going to be late. Based on that I did not have anything ready- Brett and I were running around the house packing my bag and throwing things into the car. When we finally got to the hospital I was only 1 cm dialated to I knew we would be there for awhile before Crew made his appearance. After a little bit I got some pain medicine and slept for 3 hours. When I woke up I decided it was time for me to get my epidural since I was 4 cm. Not an hour after that I was 9 1/2 cm and baby Crew was on his way!!! The nurses were running in and out bringing in everything for delivery- I pushed for 10 minutes and baby Crew was here!!
Words can't even describe the emotions felt that day as they layed baby Crew on my chest and I watched Brett cut the umbilical cord. Wow, God really is amazing and this whole experience is such a miracle! After endless prayers and worries, Crew was absolutely PERFECT!! We just kept staring at him and could not get enough!!
It has now been almost a month since Crew has been born and I can't believe how fast the time has flown by. Crew is doing absolutely wonderful and is just the perfect baby. He sleeps for about 5 hours at a time at night so I can't complain about that. He is also beginning to show more personality and smile at us, reach for things, and kick his feet. We do have to be careful on those diaper changes, I am sure learning how to change a diaper fast- I have gotten sprayed one too many times already! Boys oh Boys!!
I will try to keep this as up to date as much as a new mom can so you can all follow us. I also created a shutterfly share site that I am contantly updating with pics so I will post that link on here as well.
