Crazy Weekend Part 2- Jordan & Brian's Wedding Day

I was honored enough to be a bridesmaid in good friend Jordan's wedding. Jordan lived next to us in the dorms, and directly under us in our apartment for the next 3 years. We were the same major so we had every single class together. She lived with me for one summer as we both interned in Houston, and we had so much fun. She is like the sister I never had, and am truly blessed to have a friend like Jordan.

Her wedding day was extra special. I drove to Dallas Saturday morning and met the other bridesmaids and mothers at the nail salon. We were treated to a great pedicure. After that we went back to Jordan's and Brian's new townhouse to enjoy a wonderful pre-wedding lunch. I loved spending the entire day with the bride and getting excited for each activity.
We then headed to Salon Pompeo and had our hair done for the big day. Everything turned out perfect and the bride was stunning. The church was gorgeous, ceremony was beautiful, and the couple looked soo happy.

We celebrated the reception at Hickory Street Anex- an amazing venue in Dallas with a beautiful view of the city in a room full of windows. Jordan and Brian planned everything perfectly and the night was beautiful. Thanks so much for allowing me to be part of your special day. Years of blessings and happiness to the new couple!

Crazy Wknd Part 1 (Katy)- Bday, Museum, & Reunion

Well, I am WAY behind on blogging, but last week was super crazy, we had Crew's bday party Saturday so I had a ton to get ready. We will post pics soon, but here are some from our crazy weekend before. We spent Thursday and Friday in Katy.

On Thursday we finally got to meet baby Helen at her Sip & See. Loved seeing her and catching up with her mommy!=)What a cutie she is!
That night we celebrated Crew's bday with Uncle Jeff (aka "Uncle Money"- his new name) since he wasn't able to make it to the party in Austin. It was complete with balloons, Elmo Cake, toys, bikes, bubbles..you name it!! Thanks for making Crew's bday weekend extra special!=)

Friday morning Brett flew into Houston and we took Crew to the Children's museum. Talk about the place to go- It's the #1 Children's Museum in America and it is better than I remember it as a child. He never stopped the whole entire time- shopping at the grocery store, boarding dogs in the pet store, cooking pizzas, saving lives in the ambulance, floating boats outside. This place is GREAT and we will def be making another trip back!=) I think Brett and I may have had just as much fun as Crew, ha!

That Friday night I celebrated my 10 year high school reunion, and it was a BLAST!!! It was wonderful to see old friends whom I hadn't seen since high school and catch up with ones I hadn't seen in awhile. The venue was awesome, DJ played all our music from high school, they even had a photo booth-priceless! The only sad part was that we had to miss out on Jordan and Brian's rehearsal for the wedding the next day. I know we missed a great party there, and thanks Jordan for being so understanding.

That Saturday morning we hit the road at 6 am and headed to Dallas to celebrate Jordan and Brian's big day. Those pics will be next post, crazy weekend part 2...

Happy 2nd Birthday Crew!

Where has the time gone? My little baby turned 2 yesterday! He brings us such joy, laughter, smiles, and nonstop excitement each and everyday! I keep finding myself saying- this is my favorite age, as he continues to grown up. I know 2's are known as the terrible 2's, but we are in the "fun 2's" right now. I am soo enjoying this stage!!

-Everytime Crew sees anyone he always waves yelling "hi" or "bye"- talk about Mr. Social, he does not have a shy bone in his body.

-Tractors and trucks are his favorite right now! We make a trip a week to Lowe's so he can practice driving the big "trucks"!

-He also loves Elmo, Barney, and Nemo (we try to limit this to one show a day or he would sit there non stop.)

-He has started mimicking everyword we say and has established a big vocabulary over the last few weeks.

-His favorite foods are french fries and cookies- and he asks for them at every meal (oh no!)

-His favorite word is "AWESOME", and he sounds sooo cute saying it!!!=)

We love love our baby boy and cannot imagine our lives without this little prince! Thank you Lord for giving us the opportunity to raise this little man, he is such a blessing in our lives and we love him to pieces! Happy 2nd Birthday Crew, we LOVE you!!

Eating a big plate of his favorite- French Fries!
