Jordan's Bachelorette Party

This past weekend was a busy one! One of my good friends from high school, Rebecca, got married in Los Cabos. We were so sad that we had to miss her special day. Wishing her and her husband John many years of happiness!

This weekend was also one of my best friends from college, Jordan's bachelorette party. I am in Jordan's wedding in August, and can't wait for the big day. To celebrate the weekend, we rented a house right on Lake Travis. The home was absolutely amazing, and was the perfect "getaway" for the weekend. We enjoyed late nights of girl talk and fun! On Saturday afternoon we went out on the pontoon for a few hours. It was wonderful to "soak up some rays", relax and swim in the lake. That night we went to a restaurant right on the lake and enjoyed a yummy dinner.
I had so much fun catching up with old friends, and meeting some new ones too! Thanks for a great girls getaway!

The beautiful house!

Jordan trying on the bachelorette "veil"

*This veil was made for my bachelorette party. It has since been passed down to each bride to celebrate their bachelorette party. After you wear the veil, you sign your name and wedding date in the headband, and "add" something to it. It is now quite the masterpiece. Here's Jordan making sure it fits, ha!

(The veil has been around 5 years strong and still going, and has now been worn by 5 bachelorettes...)

Such a fun group of girls

This sweet little boy took about 50 pics of our group together.

Such a good sport, we decided we needed one pic w him- he was a little embarrased!

  1. That is a beautiful venue, and it looks like a perfect setting to host an amazing bachelorette party. It seems from the pictures that you guys had an enjoyable weekend. My sister is getting married next month at one of her favourite San Francisco wedding venues. I’m also organising her bachelorette party this week.
